Founder & CEO

Dr Jalal Khan

Jalal’s strong sense of community is the driving force behind The Dental Truck. Whilst undertaking studies in Dentistry at the University of Sydney, Jalal saw first hand how difficult accessing dental treatment was for those in need. In addition to his private practice in North Sydney, Jalal has worked on his mobile dental clinic in remote Australia. Having seen the plight of those in the bush Jalal felt compelled to make a greater contribution to improving access to dental treatment. Then began the vision to create a mobile dental service with modern technology and the ability to travel directly to the communities in need. Now a not-for-profit organisation, The Dental Truck is positioned to expand its reach and positively influence oral health outcomes and health policy.
